God of War 2018 was the first game that actually took ahold of me that hasn’t happened since I was younger. A beautiful story and an even more beautiful game and Ragnorak didn’t disappoint. The love I have for Kratos and his story I don’t think will be rivaled by another game.

I agree, I wanted to replay COD WW2's campaign and while it was fun, what ruined it was the QuickTime events that slowed the game. QuickTime events make replaying a game painful because you already seen it and your forced to watch it again. I give me the urge to scream "LET ME PLAY THE GAME!" My dad wanted to try out the game but one thing that stopped him was the unskippable cutscenes that really annoyed him.

Gameplay is really fun but the marketing ruins it, that's why I buy cheap keys and get the content anyway, I want the content but I am not going to succumb to their ridiculous pricing.

For me the biggest part is all the effects in d1, the lens glares and fogs added a lot to the visuals of d1, though there is more to it, but thats particularly the first thing that comes to my mind I feel like the dropping of that stuff to the bare minimum was a choice of trying to make the game more cleaner looking bc of how they wanted to make pvp a bigger focus back at launch of d2 and that kind of style just stayed Basically d2s mindset behind the visuals was "you want to see what you're shooting at and not be distracted by the world around you" idk, i probably just sound like im making up shit

I mean I'm one of those that "just ignored it". The cosmetics part, that is. When halo infinite released everyone was complaining about "no progression" and too many paid skins while I was running as the default gray skin and everything and didn't care. But I only played the game for like 100 hours because it had an actual problem of looking for a game for 1-2 minutes + loading for 2-3 minutes (because some mfer is using HDD) and then lasting for 5 minutes. I haven't seen a single s**ttuber mention that, but everyone kept talking about mtx...

When I finished a task of the game, it reminded me about the kanban from my job; my team met every day and finished the daily task on the kanban board. When I get a bug(such as part of a model unnaturally passing through part of another) from the game, it reminds me of the debugging from my job. When I play a game, I see invisible lines of code in my eyes that tell me how it works. When I see a game with such a poor gaming experience that I can't stand it, it reminds me of a brainstorming session by my supervisor at work that asked our team to refactor the entire project's code. It makes me feel like real life is more interesting than these games and makes me stay away from social media (because things, in reality, can be ridiculous enough to subvert my definition of life). But I never deny that games are another excellent way to express emotions besides books, music, movies, and social media. So, if you can't help yourself from playing the game, try to become a part of it.🙁

Curios about this game. A space shooter or really; a first person shooter set in space. Writing this as of May 2024. Xbox has cut support for the the xbox 360 consoles. Typical of Microsoft. Microsoft console group know that so many…..older players maybe, or players across the board will throw up their hands with so many crap choices for the Xbox1, and will go old school PC version or Xbox 360….so Microsoft has made Xbox 360 downloads unavailable now. Now I did get some automatic updates for some older games recently. I think I’m going PC on this one. The Servers life will not be around much longer. Sad, but who knows.

Down and depressed after my partner cheated on me during the Pandemic. I decided to play Wow Classic and met new friend from half way across the world (i'm from South East Asia) and the friendships I made during that time I will forever cherish. I remember when our guild was about to dissolve because we couldn't do Raids as often as people liked, I felt really down and I could feel depression will sink in again, and some of the dudes from the guild just followed me while I did some quests telling me to cheer up.
